The Designer.

Who is Susan?  The formal answer is that she is Susan Bella Linski, a jewelry designer and the owner of Susan Bella Jewelry, LLC, the Lehigh Valley’s best full service jewelry store that her clients have come to call “The Happy Place”. Her expertise is custom design, particularly redesigning heirloom pieces which updates them for the modern wearer while still honoring who they have come from.  For her, this is very rewarding and one of her favorite things to do!

The not so formal answer is she is all about peace, love, joy & great jewelry!!  She is genuine, honest, dedicated, passionate, caring, creative, an animal lover, and a hard worker.  Susan is both fun loving and success driven, says what is on her mind, and loves her husband, family and friends beyond words.  She is a Scorpio through and through, doesn’t tolerate any type of hate (#onelove) and has an immeasurable amount of gratitude for all the blessings and amazing people in her life that support her effort of bringing joy to others.

Despite having a discerning eye for selecting jewelry to sell in her shop, Susan always yearned to have a line of her own.  Several concepts have come and gone, however she simply didn’t have adequate time to properly launch such an undertaking while running her business and being involved in the community.

Her Background: Susan is a graduate of DeSales University in Center Valley, PA earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing. Always maintaining a professional presence in her mother’s jewelry store (Lehigh Jewelers), she extended her expertise into public relations, advertising, event planning, graphic design and consulting for local businesses. She helped run her mother’s (Carol) shop through 2008 which led her to her eventual destiny of the creation of Susan Bella Jewelry over decade ago, pursuing her passion as a jewelry designer.

Susan also contributes to the Lehigh Valley’s various fundraisers and charitable organizations with her primary focus being pediatrics, the LGBTQ community and animal rescues.

The Inspiration.

To celebrate her 10 year anniversary, Susan launched Bella Mani®, her very first line of trademarked jewelry.

This clean, sleek line is inspired by antiquarian clock hands. Susan has always had the ability to find beauty in everyday, simple things.  Everything that surrounds her inspires her jewelry designs; particularly architecture, nature, and vintage man-made items. While people might quickly pass by an item, a clock, for example, and look at it merely for the time, she is all about the details. Susan notices the face, the shape of the hands, and underlying textures.

After finding about a dozen 18th and 19th century clock hands in an obscure antique store in Newport, RI, in 2017, inspiration struck!! Susan and her husband Dan discussed the idea of her creating a line of jewelry inspired by said hands.  They both knew they couldn’t sit on this concept!  They brainstormed on the 5 hour ride home – Dan is credited with thinking of the name: Bella Mani, which means beautiful hands in Italian.

These beautiful relics of the past moved Susan to design an enticing collection that is elegant, yet contemporary and sleek with long, flowing lines… truly timeless.

Bella Mani® is currently comprised of three collections, each with varying designs. Each collection is inspired by one vintage clock hand she has named after an Italian city which Susan has had the pleasure of visiting. Introducing: Florence, Pienza, and Venice through the designer’s eyes.
